TIP Trailer Services is looking for a FP&A Analyst

In this position, you will drive month-end close processes, create the forecast, be the driver of the budget process and assist MT with analysis on a daily basis. You will report to the Finance Director Benelux. 

Most important tasks and responsibilities:

  • Facilitating role to management in Financial and Operational data analysis
  • Pro-active monitoring of key indicators, including follow-up on plans and actions
  • Support systems changes and improvements, ensure testing and appropriate signoffs
  • Drive month end close processes including commentary, monthly P&L reporting, regional P&L review calls and support
  • Functional and Regional OPEX reporting and co-ordination
  • Preparing and supporting monthly reporting
  • Business closing and consolidation processes
  • General ledger administrator to ensure all legal entity re-organizations and eliminations are correctly reflected for IFRS and Local GAAP
  • Schedule and facilitate weekly forecast meeting
  • Create one offs list to track unusual and one-off items booked during the quarter
  • Creating forecast files and incorporate information from other departments (e.g. Maintenance & Repair, HR, Sales)
  • Key player in cross-functional business improvement projects
  • Driver of budget process
  • Act as a key support contact in terms of reporting, ad-hoc queries from management
  • Perform ad-hoc assignments as requested (e.g. acquisitions and efficiency improvements)
  • Producing pitches to management board and shareholders
  • Driving special projects including but not limited to acquisitions and efficiency improvements

  • Minimum of 5 years of Finance experience in Finance/Accounting (experience in a multinational matrix organization is a pre)
  • Ability to partner with the business and senior management
  • Advanced skills in Excel and ability to work with a variety of IT systems
  • High energy and ability to work under pressure
  • Can do attitude and always on call
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to use quantitative analysis to help driving performance improvement and decision making
  • Unquestionable integrity
  • Leasing industry experience preferred
