T.E.S. MacDonald, Suma and TIP have joined forces to announce an exciting competition for the UK’s budding young artists to create a "thank you" / "stay at home" trailer livery design.
To show support and give thanks to the NHS through this difficult period, and with that theme in mind, the winning trailer livery design will be proudly displayed on the curtains of one of Suma’s fleet - meaning that it will be visible up and down the country. The curtains on which it will be printed have been donated by TIP.
The original idea was to create something to keep the kids entertained, but the idea grew from there.
It was decided to turn something simple into a huge positive and that could be the world’s biggest ‘thank you’ card for our NHS staff. Those involved want to ensure that up and down the country its known how proud they are of the workers during this difficult time.
We received a call from T.E.S. asking if we would consider donating a portion of the cost to support the manufacture of the winning design. It did not take us long to agree that, given this competition was to raise money for the NHS, and in doing so keep our children entertained, we should support this initiative. With Suma being a key customer and T.E.S. Macdonald being a key supplier to TIP, it was an instant decision to be involved in such a great fund raiser.
As well as this fantastic accolade, there’s £100 worth of vouchers for art supplies and a hamper of goodies for the winner, and there’s also runner up prizes too. It’s a nationwide competition, and open to those who are 16 and under.
